Obituary: Mrs. Betty Loraine Kessler Simpson, 55, Green Co., KY She was a member of a respected Green Co. family. She was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church. She had owned and operated a garden center for over 14 years, and was a former seamstress Mrs. Betty Loraine Kessler Simpson, 55, of the Exie Community of Green Co., KY, passed away on Monday in Greensburg at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. There will be a private funeral and no visitation. Burial will be in Kidd Cemetery, Green Co., KY. Betty Lorraine Kessler Simpson, Green Co., KY (1954-2010) Mrs. Betty Loraine Kessler Simpson, the daughter of Laverne Kessler of Greensburg and the late Leon Kessler, was born April 8, 1954 in Barren County and departed this life on April 5, 2010 in Greensburg, Green Co., KY, at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital. She was 55 years, 11 months and 28 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Union Chapel Baptist Church. She had owned and operated a garden center for over 14 years and was a former seamstress. She united in marriage on August 5, 1972 to Roger Simpson, who survives.
