Thank You, Adair County, for a great marching band season

From Tom Case, Director, Adair Co. High School Marching Band

I would like to personally thank all of Adair County for the wonderful support towards the marching band this season. Even though I've only been involved in this area for a short time, it is clearly evident that the community embraces all of its activities to the fullest. I thank our talented group of band students and our senior band class of 2010. This has been a great season full of accomplishments....thank you! Tom Case

This is a sad story, but one many innocent Adair County drivers face in this time of deer romance. Writer examines all sides of question, with no clear answer. But a few 'poor baby's' for her might be in order.

By Mary Sullivan, Commentary

I was driving along last night, minding my own business, when a deer pops out of a cornfield.

I immediately hit my brakes to let her cross in front of me, but she decides to just stand there. So I start to creep by and just as my car gets in line with her she darts out and hits my passenger side, rolling down my car.
