The Epicurean Kentucky: Dinner for three

2008-08-20 - Photo By Pen.
NOW OR NEVER TIME FOR TOMATOES: "We've hit that point in the summer when the tomatoes are coming too fast to eat them all sliced. I started this dish with about 2 oz of country ham, sliced into small pieces. Once it had cooked, I added three small sliced quartered zucchini and a sliced onion and cooked until some of the zucchini began to brown. Then I added olive oil and minced fresh garlic. Three completely ripe, now-or-never tomatoes added a bright, sweet note to this sauce and deglazed the pan, picking up even more flavor from the onions and ham. I added some more olive oil and a little balsamic vinegar, then simmered for 10 minutes while farfalle cooked, and finished with fresh ground pepper and parmesan." -PenFlickr. Commends computer store on Jamestown ST.

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

I would like to put in a good word for one of our local businesses!

My laptop was running oh so slow and my battery would not hold a charge anymore.

A+ Computers on Jamestown Street is the place to go.

He was able to solve all my computer problems and answer my many questions.

It's great to have a local computer shop in town!

I highly recommend going to see him if you have computer issues.

In 1860 a farmer living in Glens Fork might have raised a cash crop of tobacco. After he harvested that tobacco, he may have loaded it onto wagons and taken it to Creelsboro.
