Mr. Gabbert was a retired employee of Greyhound Bus Lines and was a member of the Virginia Avenue United Methodist Church
James A. (Gabby) Gabbert, 79, Louisville, KY, died Monday, August 18, 2008, at his residence.
The funeral service will be Saturday, August 23, 2008, at 11:00amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, with Pastor P.T. Barnum officiating.
He was the son of the late Matthew and Lula Janes Gabbert, a member of Virginia Avenue United Methodist Church, a retired employee of Greyhound Bus Lines and was a current employee of American Coach Travel.He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Leola Hodges Gabbert, Louisville, KY, and the following:
Visitation will be after 1:00pmCT, Friday, August 22, 2008, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY.
Memorial gifts may be made to his church or Hospice.
