Scenic Adair Co., KY: Green River Bottom Corn

2008-08-15 - Neatsville, KY - Photo By Pen.
A PERFECT SKY, A PERFECT DAY, and a PERFECT CROP of CORN on a slow road along Green River near old Neatsville made one of thousands of perfect scenes in Adair County, Wednesday afternoon, August 13, 2008. There was a time when bottom land was the only way to raise really great crops of corn in Adair County., and this bottom land crop along the river continues the tradition. Today, corn grows abundantly on uplands as well, but takes more chemical coaxing than it does here. A Today, Saturday, August 16, 2008, Today's Picture Album photo
