Chris Warf often performs at Trinity; is singing Angel

About: Chris Warf, Ashley Zsedenyl at iIAerican Idol

Ed,

Clint Warf is my nephew and has blessed us with song many times here in Columbia. He sings at Trinity United Methodist Church once or twice a year. He sang at my late husband Billy's funeral and prayer vigil. Last summer he was hired by the Kentucky Opera for a summer production. Although he did not make it on Idol, he is my singing Angel, and I am so proud of him! If you have never attended a Campbellville University musical production you are missing out, they are awesome.

Go Clint!

Leaving Columbia, but huge part of hearts will remain forever

"This community is a community of faith and family and friends.." -BRO. RANDY JOHNSON

To the people of Adair County, KY

For the last six years, my family has called Columbia, KY, our home. We were called to this community by God and by Columbia Baptist Church as their pastor, and moved here in July of 2002.

Since that time, it has been my honor to serve the wonderful people of Columbia Baptist and Adair County. This community is a community of faith and family and friends. We have been loved dearly, and we love the people of Adair County dearly, as well.

Comment: Another voice for reclaiming Burkesville Street

About:, time to reclaim Burkesville Street
She's very concerned for safety of cyclists, students
    To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

Hurray for your foresight concerning Burkesville Street. I would like to see all the county roads have an alternative passage way on either side.

I am so afraid one of the many bike riders from LWC, who, by necessity, have to travel our roads preparing for their meets and matches, will be seriously injured because of all the vehicles that travel at such high rates of speed.

The culinary star of the past weekend: Sweet Corn on the Cob

With no prior announcement, a star was born
    PHOTO

By Ed Waggener, CM Food & Drink writer

The culinary high point of the year may have been initiated by that good man, Dean Morris, who sells produce in front of Mike Hatcher's on Campbellsville Road farm, across from Rex's Cycle.

He started a chain of events that could have led, and may yet lead, to national fame for Columbia and busloads of Canadian tourists coming to Columbia to sample the ultimate treat.

Four year resident hopes Burkesville ST be made citizen friendly

    Time to reclaim Burkesville Street

    To ColumbiaMagazine.com

I read with interest the idea of turning Burkesville Street back into a beautiful, citizen-friendly thoroughfare with renewed hope.

Having moved to Burkesville Street (and Columbia) four years ago, we have been astounded by the astronomical rates of speed at all times of the day and night.
