COF day early on recycling household batteries

To ColumbiaMagazine.com

Durn! - Talk 'bout "a day late and a dollar short."

Miz Emily accompanied me yestiday to ARC with a pick-up plum loaded with recyclables.

We have a bag of roughly 90 small batteries from the annual change out which we do on January 1st every year.

This year I saved them hoping to recycle but was told ARC only took rechargeables.Hopefully by the time we have another load, I'll remember where I put em.

s/The COF

Mr. Sinclair at Adair Recycling is looking for a place to take the household batteries, but is accepting them. He also is wanting help on recycling Styrofoam. He doesn't have a place to ship it to, right now. -EW
