Sawyers Tragedy:Bodies of abducted wife, fugitive husband found POLICE REPORTS (March 7, 2008: 5:36amCT) - At approximately 2356 hours (four minutes before midnight) on March 6, 2008, officers from the Kentucky State Police Special Response Team located the bodies of a male and female in the vicinity of Wells Bottom Road in Clinton County where Troopers were shot at earlier in the day with one KSP Detective being injured. At approximately 12:30am this morning, March 7, 2008, the Clinton County Coroner identified the bodies of Teresa A. Sawyers, age 43, of Albany, and her ex-husband, Terry Sawyers, age 49, also of Albany. The investigation is continuing at this time and more details will be released as they become available, Kentucky State Police say.
