PETITION on Wet-Dry Election appears in Columbia

There is at least one petition calling for a Wet-Dry election in Columbia. The one we've seen was on a newsstand at the Gate Station at Burkesville and Hudson Streets. The petition had only one signature, dated September 7, 2006, with no additional names of voters on the sheet since. We have not seen the petition at any other location. If anyone has any information on this petition, please send a news tip to: ed@columbiamagazine.com.
