CAUD Boil Water Advisory - Adair County Update: Boil Water Advisory lifted Columbia/Adair Utilities District BOIL WATER ADVISORY Date Issued 8/30/2025 Time Issued 3:00 pm A BOIL WATER ADVISORY is in effect for consumers on Eastridge Cemetery Road, Union Church Road, A.F White Road, J. Knifley Road, Wilson Creek Road, Chance Road, Carroll Road, Little Ln, and all other side roads in between. The advisory has been issued due to a main line break. Following such an event, the potential exists for bacteriological contamination of the water supply therefore this Boil Water Advisory has been issued as a precautionary measure. ACSO: Scam alert about false warrant calls By Adair County Sheriff Gary Roy The Adair County Sheriff's Office has received a report that someone pretending to be a deputy had called someone and told them that they had missed jury duty. Warrants were issued for their arrest. Sheriff Gary Roy wants the community to rest assured that him, his deputies, or his staff will not call anyone and tell them they have a warrant for their arrest. If you receive a phone call like this, do not give out any personal or financial information, hang up immediately.
