Travel tip - bring along a charger of your own Public USB stations, as in airports, are meant for charging your devices, but there are mixed opinions about whether these could be hacked. The idea is that a bad actor can tamper with the USB charging ports, according to TSA. When you plug your device into a hijacked port, the bad guy can put malware on your phone, potentially stealing your identity. Travel expert Gary Leff says this 'juice jacking' has little to no well-documented cases. It's possible, just not probable. She was 91 years, 8 months, and 22 days of age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of Liberty Separate Baptist Church and attended Ebenezer Presbyterian Church in her earlier years. She was a homemaker for many years caring for her children and grandchildren. She worked at American Needle Craft, Fruit of the Loom, as a lunchroom lady for Green County School System, and as a farmer. Hart County farmers honored with Leopold Conservation Award Frankfort, KY - Father and Son duo Randy and John Seymour, who own Riders Mill Farms and Roundstone Native Seed LLC in Upton, are the recipients of the 2025 Kentucky Leopold Conservation Award. The award honors farmers, ranchers, and forestland owners who go above and beyond in the management of soil health, water quality, and wildlife habitat on working land. "Some of the world's best conservationists are farmers," Agriculture Commissioner Jonathan Shell said. "This award is given to those who show the great stewardship for our agricultural lands. Randy and John Seymour not only showed an enthusiasm for conservation and restoration, but a passion for restoring our lands with native seeds. It is this dedication and forethought that will inspire and help generations of farmers to come. Congratulations to them on an honor well deserved." The Hart County farmers were presented with the award at the Kentucky Association of Conservation Districts' Annual Convention on August 5, 2025. They received $10,000 for being selected. He was best known as "Pa Bobby" by his family and friends who he loved dearly. Pa Bobby was a country boy at heart, starting from riding dirt bikes in his youth, to becoming a master fisherman and hunter. Magnolias and Pine Cones: LWU Mural Blossoms on Campus Jamestown, Kentucky, artist Dani Ford creates a mural that reflects the university's heart and soul. By Duane Bonifer Artist Dani Ford of Jamestown, Kentucky, has transformed one of the oldest spots on the Lindsey Wilson University campus into one of the more picturesque. And she hopes it will also become a "timeless," picture-perfect location at the university. Ford has painted a mural on a western side of Phillips Hall, a residence hall that is one of Lindsey Wilson's two oldest buildings. The mural, painted in rich and vibrant colors, measures 18 feet by 14 feet and covers about 250 square feet on a wall that faces the L.R. McDonald Administration Building, the university's other remaining building from when Lindsey Wilson opened on Jan. 3, 1904, with three buildings.
