Boating safety officials want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable experience on the water. "On really busy holidays, the boat's operator has to remain extremely attentive," said Zac Campbell, boating education coordinator for the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. "They need to go slower than they normally would, and they should be wearing a life jacket at all times, but especially while they are underway, day or night." Following such an event, the potential exists for bacteriological contamination of the water supply therefore this Boil Water Advisory has been issued as a precautionary measure. Until further notice, boil all water used for drinking and cooking, bring the water to a rolling boil for three minutes before using. The advisory will remain in effect until the situation has been corrected and test results have shown the water to be of an acceptable quality. FM2 honored as Outstanding Business/Industry Chamber of Commerce members voted the Farmers Market on the Square (FM2) as Outstanding Business/Industry of 2017. They were introduced by Henrietta Scott who said she could hear Jeff, her late husband and one of the founders, saying to get up in front of everyone and introduce the group of people who make FM2 work, no matter how hard it would be.
