Roy Glenn Emerson, 77, Casey Co., KY (1938-2016) 
Roy graduated from Middleburg High School in 1956. In 1958, he went to Lindsey Wilson College on a basketball scholarship before entering the US Air Force. Roy later enrolled in Miami University in Ohio where he received his Bachelor's Degree. He also went on to earn his Master of Arts Degree from Chapman University in 1976. Roy, a Navigator on a KC-135 Refueling Tanker, retired from the Air Force in 1984, having achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He had a successful business career after retiring from the Air Force. His wife, Bonnie Jean Wesley Emerson, survives.Roy Glenn Emerson, age 77, of Fort Worth, TX, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016, in Bartlett, TN. Juanita Keltner Simpson, Green Co., KY (1938-2016) 
She was a member of the Fry Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was the matriarch of a highly regarded family. She was the daughter of the late Bascom Keltner and Mary Ella Kessler Keltner. Her husband of 64 years, William Dennis Simpson, survives. She leaves 13 direct living descendants.Mrs. Juanita Lee Keltner Simpson, 77 of Greensburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital, Greensburg, KY. Mrs. Kathryn K. (Kirby) Story, Las Cruces, NM (1948-2016) She and her husband were residents of Las Cruces, New Mexico and were in Campbellsville visiting family at the time of her passing. Mrs. Story was a life-long artist and held a Master's of Arts degree. She professed faith in Christ at an early age and was of the Lutheran faith. Her husband of 35 years, Thomas Story, survives. Meals provided to CU students by 17 churches over holidays By Lindey Young, sports information graduate assistant CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- As many athletes know, the winter break isn't much of a break at all, but the church community of Campbellsville, Ky. made it surprisingly worthwhile. Approximately 17 churches fed seven sport teams and international students from Campbellsville University over the course of 25 days during the winter break. Starting on December 14 and ending on January 15, right before the cafeteria re-opened the churches handed out 1,816 meals. "What the churches in our town have done for our student-athletes has been phenomenal," said director of athletic, Rusty Hollingsworth. "For 25 days during our break, the 17 churches involved, have fed over 1,800 meals to our student-athletes while the university cafeteria was closed. Just 39 and a little fluff to go. This is up 73 volunteer-validated signatures from the last report of Fri 15 Jan 2016. PAC defines "volunteer validated" signatures as those PAC volunteers have checked in-house against registration information at the Secretary of State's office, which is the same method the Adair County Court Clerk will use in the official validation.
