Virgina Kimbler Burkett: Nice to see Garnett Cousins

Remembers good days at Smiley School, Ella, KY

Virginia Kimbler Burkett writes:
It was nice to see a picture of Wanda Young Beard. Her mother, Grace Troutman, was my teacher twice--last time at Smiley (2 rooms) School at Ella, KY. She was a wonderful lady. Wanda Rae probably doesn't remember but she came to school with Miss Grace until school began in Columbia. She and I were talking one day and got punished by having to squat underneath the blackboard. I loved Miss Grace. --Virginia Kimbler Burkett
