Historical Quest: The experience of the W.A.T.C.H group

The captions on the accompanying photos are different from other ColumbiaMagazine.com cutlines: They're meant be puzzles. They're only clues. In many cases, they are esoteric. One needs to know a lot of Columbia history, know a lot of Adair County people, know the photographer's biography and followed her work, traced her family tree to catch every nuance. Heck, you'd even have to know the history of the oilfields and watch a lot of Tv to know what Shamarie is saying every time - but it's mean to be fun and to get more people to make the Quest. It starts with a brochure box at the Adair County Library, 307 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY - and then you're on your own - own your own quest! - CM
