My first thought was "I don't need any more dogs". But I was told one was a Beagle and a neighbor had called me about her missing Beagle, so I went to investigate. It was a blustery, damp day and by the side of the road were three skinny, scraggly, wet dogs. One was a male tri-color Beagle, one was a red and white female Beagle/Basset Hound mix, and the third one was a male dog that looked like a dust mop. They all were happy to see a friendly face. The Story of John McQueary New York City Police Detective, of the Clan McQueary, remembers the oral history of the fight between 'Grandpa McQueary' and his son John McQueary, the son's enlistment and death, and the amateur forensics the grieving father went through to make sure that the remains were his son's - and the overnight transformation of Grandpa McQueary. The detective's daughter is Catherine; who says he'd love a tour to show him where things were and where people lived. CPD charges Russell Co. woman with possession of phony $20s In the last few weeks there have been several incidents between Russell Springs and Adair County involving counterfeit money. Most of the cases seem to be involving twenty dollar bills but are not limited to that denomination. - OFC. BROCKMAN By Ofc. City Hall, 116 Campbellsville Street On Saturday, January 5, 2013, Columbia Police arrested 34 year old Andrea Williams of Russell Springs KY. Williams was charged with 11 counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument and lodged in Adair County Regional Jail. Williams was found to be in possession of a quantity of counterfeit twenty dollar bills. The arrest was made by CPD Ofc. Josh Brockman who was assisted by Ofc. Dial and the Adair County Sheriff's Office. Columbia Police are continuing the investigation.
