Fred Gabehart, Taylor County, KY (1920-2012) He was the patriarch of a large, highly regarded Taylor County family. He leaves 20 direct living descendants. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer and former employee of Taylor County High School. He was a veteran of World War II, having served his country honorably in the United States Army and attaining the rank of Corporal. He was awarded the European African Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon, American Theater Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, and World War II Victory Medal. Fred Gabehart, 92, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 1:55pmET, Saturday, August 11, 2012 in Campbellsville., KY. Funeral services will be at 11amET/10amCT, Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Fred Miller and Darrell Hunt. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 3878 Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Monday, August 13, 2012, at the funeral home.
