Backs Sheriff Moss - adds no problem too big to solve

'We need to pray for the folks who are involved in this drug problem, as well' She says.

Linda Grigsby writes:
I wholeheartedly agree with the praise for Sheriff Moss and his stand on drugs. This is a real problem in our county, as well as elsewhere, and now it's being addressed. I pray daily for our leaders in this county, to make the right decisions and I feel like we are moving forward. We need to pray for the folks who are involved in this drug problem, as well. No problem is bad enough that it can't be fixed. It may take awhile, but if we all work together, as a community, we can solve anything. - Linda Grigsby

Lots of Snow Cream, Popcorn in Big Snow of March, 1960

Father, Kenneth Pyles, had to use bulldozer to clear drive
Comments re photo 43685 Big Snow March 1960. Betty Sue Conover at 6 mos on Wall St

By Rita Smith

I can remember some of that year.

My father the late Kenneth Pyles was using a bull dozer for his work at that time and the snow was so deep that he had to use the dozer to cut a path from the driveway to the main road, although we did live on the main road which is 206.

I was only 12 years of age then, but I do remember that snow. Lots of homemade snowcream and popcorn to get us homebound school kids through the day.

Good times and many memories. - Rita Smith
