Ms. Opal had dancing, smiling eyes, a kind word for all

Sheila - writes:
I was saddened to see that Ms. Opal had passed away. I have such fond memories of her when I was a young woman living in the Cundiff community. I did not know very many people there since I was not from Kentucky. Ms. Opal was one of the first people I met when I moved to Cundiff. She had what I called smiling, dancing eyes and always had a kind word to say. I will never forget her kindness to me a stranger to the neighborhood. God has a special angel in his garden today. Photography: Needs services of patient photographer

Denise Richards writes:
I am looking for someone with a lot of patience to take summer pictures of my children. This has always been hard to get: A good picture of all them together. Their ages are 15, 10, 8, and 5, so with those ages you could see why they are all wanting to do their own thing. They all take good pictures by themselves. It's just when I try to get them all together there's a problem. I am looking for someone reasonably priced and who has the patience needed; the last photo we had done, the lady was not so patient. Please contact me with prices if you are interested and also show some of your work if possible. pookie200576@yahoo.com. Thank you very much have a great day....

Three generations in family rode Creed's school bus

He treated each child as an individual, giving each a nickname; families knew their children were safe with him

By Jennifer Appleby

I have been very fortunate to know Creed Lacy over the past 17 years. He was the bus driver of my mother-in-law (Janice Appleby), my husband (Chris Appleby), and then my children (Samantha and Zachary Appleby) when they would ride to grandma's house.

Creed always has a smile on his face and something to say to everyone.

Bobby Pelston took special interest in the kids

Caring bus driver kept children's letters and pictures through the years, writer says
Paula Pyles writes:
Bobby always cared about the kids on his bus. He made them mind and tried to keep them safe. He kept a scrapbook with all the letters and pictures that the kids would give him every year. I was married to him when he became a bus driver. He thought a lot of the kids on his bus and watched them grow up over the years.

I am married to Jeff Pyles now, and his son, Kenny, rode Bobby's bus. He saved pictures that Kenny had drawn. He let me borrow them to show Kenny that he still had them. I think he kept pictures and letters through all the years that he drove. -Paula
