Fishing: Disaster on Green River Lake

By Old Coddger
As a life long resident of this area and the Green River always being very important as recreation and a food source. My grandson and I made a fishing trip yesterday to Green River Lake in search of a much anticipated mess of fresh fish. After several hours of fishing (research) we realized that there was a major health issue with the fish we were catching.

It was very disturbing and troublesome trying to decide what is wrong with the fish. We have finally figured it out and am not sure what to do to help in such a large body of water. The problem appears to be that the fish are growing their mouth to close to their tails. Any solution would be appreciated.

Happy Ending: Providence led Boo
to special place, a very special person

Life has returned to its idyllic routine at Raindrop Ranch. Maybe only dog people fully understand the despair felt while Boo was missing. Maybe only they can appreciate the joy of a dog and masters reunion. Pam Dailey and Dean McNeiley think their story happened for a Providential reason, that there was a reason why Boo ended up on this one Adair County community, at this one doorstep, at the home of this one very special person.

There was a bonus in the wonderful story everyone now knows about the eleven day search for our dog, Boo, and the "miracle" reunion when she happened to appear at the doorstep of an angel in Gradyville.

The bonus was getting to meet a wonderful Adair Countian, one we will never forget: Mary Keltner.
