Bad behavior kids blamed on parents About: Memorial Day Observance marred by appalling behavior of a few motorists To ColumbiaMagazine.com First off let me just say that the young people are not to blame it's their parents! They should have been taught to respect the vets at all cost if that means pulling off the road, or getting off the tractor. These men and women, like my father, gave this country their all. They fought for our freedoms - like watching your Tv, or going to the church, or wherever you want to go. Just remember that without these men and women who have fought and are still fighting for our freedoms, who knows what our lives would be like today? Be proud, stand tall and thank an American vet today. Thank you. s/Rhonda Crabb Smith A very proud daughter 2010-05-31 18:49:09 | Comments | Printable version | See topic Letters and Reader Feedback

I just wish that somehow we could all realize that with the possible exception of equipment malfunction, some sudden physical impairment of a driver or a meteor becoming a meteorite on top of a moving car, most every "auto accident" is preventable.
