Rev. Joey N. Welsh. Encore essay: Adair County, Kentucky ANOTHER ANGLE, the occasional musings of a Kentucky pastor: Colonel Casey, John Adair, John Marshall Clemens, Jane Lampton, and Mark Twain. This encore essay first appeared on ColumbiaMagazine.com on November 12, 2006. By The Rev. Joey N. Welsh E-mail: Joey_n_welsh@hotmail.com A GOOD NAME COUNTS IN KENTUCKY COUNTY NAMES, PART II As I wrote last week, having a good name is an important thing. This truth is referenced in scripture (take a look at Proverbs 22 and Ecclesiastes 7, for example) and confirmed in daily life.
