Five year old knocks car out of gear; sibling is injured Younger child airlifted to Kosair Childrens Hospital in Louisville, KY Accident occurs in Green County Tuesday evening By KSP Trooper William Gregory On September 16, 2008, at approximately 6:02pmCT, the Kentucky State Police responded to a residence at Bishop Lane in Green County. A 5-year-old female and her 3-year-old sister were playing outside. The f5-year-old climbed into her mother's vehicle, a 1989 Oldsmobile, knocking the vehicle out of gear. The vehicle rolled into the 3-year-old. The 3-year-old was air lifted from the scene and taken to Kosair's Children's Hospital in Louisville where she is in critical but stable condition with a closed head injury. The names of the children are not being released per the family's request. The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Mr. Curry saw to it that every child attending John Adair Middle School made the pilgrimage to this historic Kentucky landmark. High on a ridge overlooking the Kentucky River is the final resting place of the legendary adventurer and frontiersman, Daniel Boone.
