Garrison Construction apparent low bidder on Greenhills project Seventeen companies submit bids. Apparent winning firm is located in Adair County at Clay Ridge, but has Green County address. Bid nearly half highest bid, and more than $11,500 under second low bidder. Complete list of bids follows. By Ed Waggener Garrison Construction Co., an Adair County firm, was the apparent low bidder this morning on the Green Hills/Parrott Avenue Sewer Project. Garrison Construction's bid was $835,847,84. Arts Council planning summer art camp at ACES Volunteers needed to share talent with kids this summer By Debbie Cowan For Adair County Arts Council We are planning a summer arts camp for 4th, 5th and 6th graders at Adair County Elementary, June 16 to 20, 2008. The camp will be held from 9:00am to 2:00pmCT daily. Our goal is to offer a variety of art activities for students including ceramics, photography, weaving, painting, woodworking, crafts etc. We are looking for community members that would be willing to share their talents with our kids. We have money for supplies but need volunteers. Contact me if they are interested in helping?
