Adair library to close one week for genealogy expansion Work is ongoing through November; library will close one week, from November 20-27, 2006, as staff, genealogists, and Friends of Library complete work. The Adair County Public Library (ACPL) is in the process of expanding the genealogy section of the library. The library will be closed from November 20-27, 2006, while the work is being done. "We are working to make one of the best genealogy libraries in the state into the greatest!" LeeAnn Jessee, the ACPL Director said in making the announcement. The huge task will require the help of all the library staff, some genealogists, and Friends of the Library, who will be working hard between now and the end of November.
