The Family Place receives bonus check from United Way Jaime Feese, of The Family Place Family Resource Center, Columbia, KY, was among the participants and received a bonus United Way check on behalf of The Family Place. The presentation took place place in Somerset at the United Way office. Ms. Feese said that the funds will be put to a good use in Adair County. "Locally, the funds we receive are used to help pay for our summer programs for school students," she said. Driver injured in one-vehicle accident Friday evening A single vehicle accident Friday evening, September 8, 2006, at 6:44pm CT, resulted in injuries to the driver, Robert Pruitt, 50, Tompkinsville, KY.
