Dream Depot Benefit August 26, 2006 benefits MS cause The Dream Depot will be doing a 50's & 60's show this Saturday night, August 26, 2006, at 7:00pm CT. The proceeds from this show will go to support MS. This show is in memory of Mike Ellis and in honor of those in Adair County who are affected by MS. It's going to be a great show , so come on out bring all your family, friends and neighbors have some fun and support a great cause. If you don't have time to eat before you come, that's OK. $400,000 ARC grant awarded to new Lindsey Science Center Lindsey Wilson College's Fugitte Science Center has been openfor just two days, but it welcomed one of the building's biggest guests onTuesday afternoon. U.S. Rep. Ed Whitfield stopped by the 42,000-square-foot building and broughtwith him a $400,000 check from the Appalachian Regional Commission. The grantwill be used to purchase equipment for the building, which will help fund aspecial math and science summer initiative for seven Southcentral Kentucky highschools. Packed court schedule may mean traffic, parking problems Traffic may be heavy and parking is likely to be difficult in downtown Columbia today. There are 89 cases scheduled for Adair County District Court today. There are no cases in Circuit Court today, according to the Kentucky Court of Justice web site. Included in the District Court Schedule is a preliminary hearing for Margaret Huddleston, growing out of an alleged complaint of terroristic threatening against members of the Beech Grove Separate Baptist Church.
