Kentucky Color: Layers of Color

Billy Joe writes, "We have a plethora of Hummingbirds, Butterflies, Bees, etc. that are constantly feeding on all the blooms. The Hummingbirds of course have to stop feeding long enough to turn on the afterburners and run intruder Hummingbirds down the street every few minutes!"

Left foreground: a couple of Spider plant pups and white flowers that will produce pups in a couple of weeks.
Right foreground: a few blooms of our massive Sword lily.
Mid foreground: Butterfly milkweed.
Next going back: a Hosta that is not yet blooming.
Behind that: a variegated Hosta that is beginning to bloom.
Upper background: Golden rain tree that is blooming.
