Hospital District update at Fiscal Court meeting

2021-03-12 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Neal Gold, standing, provided an update on the Hospital District tax at the first Adair County Fiscal Court meeting of March 2021. He shared the progress, stating that the board bids the money amount to get the best interest as they manage tax receipts and make payments on the debt. He projects the debt will be paid off in the year 2026 at which time the court may want to abolish the tax or reassign it to pay for other needs of the county. Board appointments approved were David Herbst and Neal Gold.
