Sgt. Jr. Murphy, new Chief of Columbia Police, sworn in

Leadership of the Columbia Police Department transitioned in a brief swearing in ceremony before the City Council meeting Monday evening, March 1, 2021. As announced last month, Chief Jason Cross retired from the force and Sgt. Jr. Murphy is chosen to be the new Chief of Police.
