2020-10-16 - Metcalfe County, KY - Photo from Gaye Shaw, Edmonton Metcalfe County Chamber of Commerce.
Nominations are open for Metcalfe County Veterans in the Piecemakerís Quilt Guild partnership with the Metcalfe County, American Legion and VFW Posts honors. As a symbol and token of thanks, solace, and remembrance for those who have served in harmís way, we would like to present handmade quilts to several service members. Last year we presented quilts to seven veterans and plan to do a similar number this year. Nomination information is in the story linked to this photo.
