Vicki Leibeck-Owsley and husband Sean

In February of this year, Vicki Leibeck Owsley, pictured here with her husband Sean, was awarded the Kentucky Council of Teachers of English (KCTE) High School Teacher of the Year Award after having been nominated by student Christopher Stuchell.

Around her work at Adair County High School and all through the year she has been in treatment fighting a rare form of pancreatic cancer. The GoFundMe page started by her good friend Kathryn Tabb to help with expenses stands at $20,965 at 5amCT Thursday, September 17, 2020. The link to make donations is in the accompanying story.
