Burning home required two fire departments

The Adair County Fire Department was called out around noon Saturday, July 18, 2020 to a fire at the home of Mike and Kathy Jones on Pelham Branch Road. A representative of the AFD said the fire possibly started in the attic and the home was a total loss. Breeding Fire Department also assisted in bringing the fire under control. There were 17 firemen on the scene for around 4 hours.
