Old Reed Street Bowling Alley

2020-06-12 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Doug Beard.
Doug writes, "I noticed this faded lettering on a drive through Reed Street this morning. I can't make out the top line but the words BOWL and LANES are legible. This might be an interesting story to research from those who remember when this was operational. I seem to have a faint recall of this facility from my childhood. I do remember that for many years there were lots of bowling pins that ended up at Haskin Coomer and Sons when the bowling alley closed its doors."

We think this is the old Crystal Bowl Lanes at 104 Reed Street, Columbia, KY. If you have memories of bowling there, send us a letter using our Contact Form.
