Drive-by visitation for Brandon Wayne Kinnett

2020-05-03 - Columbia - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Final respects were shown Friday to their beloved family member, friend and coworker, Brandon Wayne Kinnett, 40, of Columbia, who died Tuesday, April 28, 2020 in a tragic accident on his farm.

In an outdoor service, necessary because of the COVID-19 pandemic, a drive-through visitation was held for him at Haven Hill cemetery.

The line was long for those waiting to show their respects and necessary for required social distancing, in a drive-through visitation at Haven Hill Cemetery. The requirement was to remain in the vehicle, and many waited patiently to stop for just a moment and show their sympathies with eye contact and a raised hand to his grieving family.

The line of vehicles was routed through the cemetery until they got to the top of the hill beside the sign on the dump truck that read "Kinnett Boy" where names of visitors were written down before driving to where the family was seated beside Brandon's open casket.
