An invitation to Sunday School and Church at Santa Fee

2019-10-06 - Adair County, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Minister Sammy Hughes and Mrs. Lilly Duvall are working to help restore the membership of Santa Fee Baptist Church in Flatwoods, Adair County, KY. The Church has been in the news recently as volunteers have worked to restore the one-room Flatwoods Rosenwald School that sits on the grounds of the Church. The Church building has been kept up well and is good shape except for having lost membership over the years. Sunday School starts at 10amCT and the service begins at 11amCT. If you are new to the area, head south out of Columbia on Hwy 61, go over the Cumberland Parkway and then take a left on Wheeler Hill Road. Santa Fee Baptist Church is on the right in about a mile, near the intersection of Jones Chapel Road and Wheeler Hill Road.
