Again there's division over what to do with this sign

2019-09-04 - Greensburg Street, Columbia - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Vintage keepsake lovers have defended this sign again and another eighteen months have gone by from the last time the Columbia City Council voted to remove it and replace it with a sign like those on other entries to town. Mayor Hoots said she would ask Parks and Rec representatives to check the sign for stability and then there can be a discussion on upgrading it and leaving it where it is. There was also a question as to whether it's a City sign or a County sign since it is outside the City limits. The one thing there is agreement on is that if it stays, it has to be updated with correct information.
