Smoke on the Mountain recommended tonight, 6 Jun 2019

2019-06-06 - Campus of Lindsey Wilson College, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener,
The gospel musical play Smoke on the Mountain is on for the second time this evening at 7pmCT and I can heartily recommend it, especially Hannah Peck, center, who will keep you laughing. The play is directed by Artistic Director of TheatreFest! Robert Brock, with music direction by Associate Artistic Director of TheatreFest! Jeremy Cloyd, with Kelvin Bailey, Renee Daffron, Sydney Shearer, Tyler Harting, Sharon Archey, Hannah Peck and Thomas Alvey. Performance will start at 7pmCT in V.P. Henry Auditorium, 210 Lindsey Wilson Street, Columbia, KY. For tickets contact Robert Brock at or call 270-384-8044. Smoke on the Mountain is set on a Saturday night in June 1938 in the sanctuary of the Mount Pleasant Church in Mount Pleasant, North Carolina. The Sanders Family Singers, led by the dad, Kelvin Bailey, far right, is performing for the first time after a five-year hiatus from the gospel-singing circuit. - LW
