Awards - Vicky Pike is Outstanding Agriculturist

Vicky Pike, owner of Miss Victoria's Pampered Angus Ranch, won the Outstanding Agriculturist of the Year award at the annual Columbia Adair Chamber of Commerce banquet May 14. Her good friend Cynthia Rowe introduced her. Pictured are: House Majority Floor Leader Bam Carney, Senator Max Wise, Vicky and Cynthia, Adair CJE Gale Cowan, Chamber Director Ellen Zornes and Mayor Pam Hoots. Those also nominated for the award were: Donna Jones, co director of the Farmers Market; Ben Loy, Adair County Farmer; Charles Giles Sr, owner of G&G Motors; Sharon Burton, owner of Farmland Publications; Dr. Jacob Feese, Adair County Animal Hospital, and Alex Kelsay, Whayne Supply.
