The White Horse On Cane Valley Road

2019-05-10 - Greg Burton Farm, Adair County Kentucky - Photo by Robert Ellis.
Robert writes, "I take notice of this white horse every time I go into town, and it's always in the back of my mind to try to photograph it while it's at the barn. While heading back home from my trip to town, I noticed since it was raining, it was hanging out at the barn. So I rushed home to get my camera. I had never noticed the barn from this perspective and everything was coming together for an interesting composition.

If I may indulge CM readers by the way of how I perceive the photo, it's this: the yellow wild flowers I was shooting through were meant to be a pleasant distraction, a temporary barrier to the second obstacle, the red out building. From there the eyes travel to the delightful barn quilt, now the horse...wait, not yet! ...then the darkness inside the barn, and the pinpoints of light that mimic the horses ears, and finally (if you're not worn out already) the reward of the beautiful white horse." --ROBERT ELLIS.
