Scenic Green River Lake: Butterfly on Henbit

2019-05-04 - Green River Lake State Park - Photo by Wayne Baxter.
Wayne writes, "My favorite way to read the CM is to scroll slowly through the pictures, stop and try to guess the photographer before the name is shown beneath. I have gotten pretty good at it. I consider the subject, location, composition, its resemblance to past pictures, etc. I have never guessed wrong about a photo made by Robert Ellis. In a phone conversation, Ed Waggener once asked me if I had met Mr. Ellis. For a split second I wondered if one of my pictures had caused him to ask that, but I quickly returned to reality. I really enjoy the pictures. I thought one of your readers might like this one I made recently in GRL state park when a lone Eastern Tiger Swallowtail butterfly lit on clump of Henbit flowers near where I was standing." -- WB
