City staff provides event for officials to be sworn in

2018-12-31 - Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Thanks go to the City of Columbia staff for their work creating the event to get newly elected officials sworn in. A few members of the crew are pictured here - Rhonda Loy, City Clerk; Jason Cross, Columbia Police Department Chief; and CPD Officer Drew Conn. Mayor-elect Pam Hoots and Council Members Linda Waggener, Sharon Payne, Dr. Ronald Rogers, June Parson and Mark Harris were sworn in by Circuit Judge Judy Vance-Murphy individually with family standing around them. Council Member Craig Dean will be sworn in later. A reception and fellowship time followed the ceremony.
