Betty's turning 30 on Dec 5

2018-11-29 - Columbia, KY - Photo courtesy Ollestad family.
Betty's Country Cooking, the landmark Columbia restaurant on North Hwy 55, will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary on Dec 5, 2018. Betty Ollestad, who started Betty's Country Cooking with her ex-husband and still-friend Rich, has been, and continues to be, an important part of the community that she serves. Betty says "She attributes her success first to God, and second to her family," a group which has always included her customers and employees. The Ollestads and the Kesslers plan to mark the anniversary milestone with a week-long extravaganza of thirty-cent drink and dessert specials, visits from Santa Claus, gift card specials, and big-ticket giveaways, beginning on Saturday, December 1, 2018.
