Sidewalk reconstruction project ready to begin

2018-09-12 - Corner Greensburg and Dillon Streets, Columbia, KY - Photo by Linda Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.

The Columbia City Council approved the bid from Mike Mitchum's Mid State Ready Mix, Columbia, KY on a motion made by Dr. Ronald Rogers with a second by Linda Waggener followed by a unanimous voice vote. The motion stipulated that the concrete must meet all requirements through each quality test performed. The sidewalk above shows needed improvement areas located at the corner of Greensburg and Dillon Streets. Work is ready to begin immediately. - EW
