Two big events at HGR Fall Festival - Hay ride, music in the Barn

2018-09-11 - Homeplace on Green River, 5807 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY - Photo by George Kolbenschlag, Homeplace on Green River.
Two of the busier events at Saturday's 2018 Fall Festival at Homeplace on Green River were the hay ride and the music in the show barn. The wagon rolls by the show barn where it appears there’s standing room only. Some were standing in line for the Mayfield Ice Cream vendors, Chris and Marie Anderson, also in the barn. Chris returned to do his usual double-duty as ice cream salesman and sound man for the performers. The festival was pretty well up to capacity all day. There was more of everything at this year’s festival—arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, exhibits and other activities. - George Kolbenschlag
