Methods for these home canned goods were handed down from Mitzi's Grandmother. Home canning is the subject of this week's column from the UK Extension Agent to make sure new homemakers are picking up the safe methods for preserving foods. Production pictured here includes six pints of Grape Jelly, eight half pints of Peach Jam, two half pints of Jalapeño Pepper, three half pints of Banana Pepper, two pints of spicy tomato juice, sixteen pints of Salsa and one quart of pickled Okra! - LW
