FM 2 Sat 21 Jul 2018 - Lonely Acre Farm not lonely long

2018-07-21 - FM2 at Municipal Parking Lot, Campbellsville & Merchant Streets, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
Caitlin Helm of Lonely Acre Farm was busy setting up an hour before the official opening of Farmers Market on the Square Saturday morning, July 21, 2018. Her father, Darrell Bunnell of Coview Farms, Coburg, KY, was busy helping a neighbor, Paul Sullivan, set up next stall over, when the photo was taken. Caitlin was putting the finishing touches on displays of berries. Coview & Lonely Acres have been a part of FM2 since it's start, and have rarely missed a session. And their displays are the envy of big box stores produce sections, and draws comparison to top vendors at Findlay Market in Cincinnati. This year's harvest is one of the best ever, Darrell Bunnell said. He's came on to the market without checking for storm damage in his neighborhood Friday night. "I just looked over the buildings," he said, "and they were all standing," he said, and took care of first things first: His long list of customers who never miss a Coview/Lonely Acre market. Shortly after the photo was taken, the "Coview/Coburg Mall" was a hub of activity, not lonely at all, anymore. - EW.
