(Readers are reminded not to consume mushrooms without knowing all factors in identifications which would require much more than a single photo). "I have seen one other Chicken of the Woods, above, several years ago, but wrongly assumed since it was so brightly colored it may poisonous... It was not until recently when my son brought in a sister mushroom- "Hen of the Woods" - which looks more like a fluffy hen, that I realized what a culinary morsel I passed by back then. - Cynthia A.
