Outdoor Catalpa (or is it 'Bear') Room at Lindsey Wilson College

2018-06-07 - Fairground Street Lawn, Dr. Robert & Carol Goodin building, Lindsey Wilson College, Columbia, KY - Photo by Ed Waggener.
Beneath an artfully trimmed catalpa canopy, there's room for a party, even a small wedding perhaps, a picnic, or, maybe romantic place for a wedding proposal, under this year's most beautiful specimen of the species. A beady, bad-eyed, big ol' bear, some will notice, sternly monitors all goings-on there. If you see it, give yourself a Blue Ribbon Bear Board genius gold star to stick on your forehead, just like the one they gave you in Vacation Bible School a three-quarters of century ago. If you don't, just claim to be sane, and accept a self-congratulatory, auto-administered pat on the back. Squint Hint: The bear is a bit to the left, high on the trunk. Now do you see it?. - EW
