CAUD Wastewater plant gets 1,920 s.f. storage facility

2018-04-09 - CAUD Wastewater Treatment Facility Campus - Photo by Ed Waggener, ColumbiaMagazine.com.
With advice and guidance from Mike Newton, a CAUD Commissioner and Director of Plant Operations at Lindsey Wilson College, a 1,920 s.f. equipment storage facility was built on at the CAUD Wasterwater Treatment Facility off Campbellsville Street on the town side of the Russell Creek Bridge. The Building is 120' long and 16 feet deep, and utilized a poured concrete retaining wall to achieve an approximately $3.00 per s.f cost. That was for materials. The construction was an inhouse job for the utility. In the future, there may be a need for doors and enclosures, but, for now, equipment is out of the elements. - EW
